Friday night's program featured an exciting winner-take-all format in the Ollie's Car Wash SUPR Shootout, which posted a $2,000 top prize. The top ten in 2014 SUPR points were locked into the Shootout, with the remainder of the eighteen car field determined by qualifying events. The eighteen drivers then ran two ten-lap events with the cumulative points from both segments deciding the SUPR Shootout Champion. Jon registered a sixth place finish in first segment and a fifteenth place run in the final round, which positioned him tenth in the final points tally.

Jon piloted his #5 W&W Timber/HealthCare Express/Jay Dickens Racing Engines/MasterSbilt entry to his first victory of the season on Saturday night at the 3/8-mile oval. Twenty-one entries returned for battle, all chasing the $2,000 winner's check. Mitchell drew the second starting spot for his heat race and charged to a convincing win to lock into the second starting position on the feature grid. Jon assumed the point at the start of the 40-lap main event and lead flag-to-flag en route to the victory over BJ Robinson, Shane Hebert, Patrik Daniel, and Ray Moore.
